Relationship Manager / Business Development Associate

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Department: Sales, Business Development & Marketing
Type: Full-time, on site

Are you someone who naturally connects the dots, reads the room, and builds relationships with ease? Are you curious, proactive, and eager to grow a business — not just follow a script?

At ARS Bulgaria, we’re looking for a Relationship Manager / Business Development Executive to join our Sales, Business Development & Marketing team and help us connect with new clients, grow our market presence, and leave a lasting positive impression everywhere we go.

What You’ll Do

• Represent ARS at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities — online and in person.
• Identify new leads and turn them into long-term client relationships.
• Explore creative ways to approach prospects and open new business conversations.
• Help clients navigate our services and business lines, offering support that builds trust.
• Maintain and grow customer satisfaction — you’re not just selling, you’re solving.
• Take ownership of your success: think strategically, take the initiative, and make things happen.

What You Must Bring

• A strategic mindset — you’re not just doing the job, you’re thinking about the “why” behind it.
• Strong people skills — you’re emotionally intelligent, a good listener, and know how to adapt to different personalities.
• Willingness to do proactive outreach, whether that’s cold emails, warm intros, or a well-timed LinkedIn message.
• Natural curiosity and the ability to spot opportunities others might miss.
• Confidence to engage in conversations, even when you’re still learning.
• A desire to grow – we value attitude and potential as much as past achievements.

Bonus Points For…

• 1–2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role
• Experience representing a company at conferences, events, or networking meetups
• Background in consulting, insurance, or professional services
• Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn, or other lead-generation platforms
• Fluency in English and Bulgarian
• Creative ideas for outreach, events, or enhancing market visibility

What We Offer

• Interesting work in a company with global know-how, local expertise and focus on people
• Great working environment in a diverse team of dynamic people
• Professional education, training and opportunities for personal development
• Personal attitude, recognition and decent remuneration
• Care for people with a flexible package of benefits, such as additional health insurance with extended scope and limit, food vouchers, different activities in and out of the office, cards for additional activities, additional paid leave, special events, opportunity to work remotely once per week, etc.
